Make sure laptop uses dedicated graphics card for game instead of integrated one.

You can change that in the Nvidia Settings. Go to 3D Settings -> Programm Settings (or something similar)

well it might not be your internet connection ,, but id maybe check and see if your can update your network driver on the laggy one.... or reinstall it. Just an ideal. And make sure all your video drivers are up to snuff too....

As the guys before said, you can update / downgrade drivers and installations. I know that some Nvidia graphics drivers has problems, so you haven't same graphiccard/chip in both laptops.

    - Deinstall all graphiccard drivers and test playing with Windows inegrated, after this install an older version from nvidia drivers.
    - Update your network drivers (wlan or lan, don't know over which connection you play with laptop)....if they are up2date deinstall them an install an older version of the driver.

Do you use the same cfg? Maybe you have to change something in it.
