bug from 1.6 to 1.7

Tried to use my cod4 first time in a 2 yrs. Well, it doest start.
It tries but immeatidly crash without any fault report etc.

Any hints?

Go to sound sound control panel and in recording tab rightclick to show disabled divices then enable stereo mix is probably your problem

And if you don't have stero mix (lots of sound cards don't support it on Windows 10) you can try plugging in a microphone and set it as default recording device.

Maybe just back up profil and reinstal game
